Dispatch time

We pack orders from our Brisbane studio with care and speed. Most orders leave within 1–2 business days.
Once an order is lodged with Australia Post, we’re unable to cancel or edit it (changes at that stage can incur carrier fees).

Note: Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Import duty or sales tax in your country is the recipient’s responsibility.

We’re not liable for carrier delays or handling once dispatched, but transit protection is included (see below).

Transit protection (lost, stolen, damaged)

Transit protection is included for peace of mind. If your parcel is lost, stolen or arrives damaged, contact us ASAP and we’ll assess a solution in line with our transit protection terms (case-by-case outcomes such as replacement or refund where applicable).

Pre-orders

Pre-order items ship when stock arrives. Estimated windows are shown on each product page.
If your order includes in-stock and pre-order items, we’ll ship together when the pre-order is ready. Prefer split shipping? Email hello@birdsonbikes.com.au and we’ll arrange it (additional postage may apply).

Pre-order timeframes are estimates and can change. If you need an item by a certain date, please let us know and we’ll do our best.

Availability

We work hard to keep stock levels accurate, but occasional discrepancies happen. If an item is unavailable after purchase, we’ll contact you to offer a refund or the closest alternative.

Duties, taxes & import fees (international)

Local duties, GST/VAT and customs fees (if any) are payable by the recipient and are outside our control.

New Zealand: Up to $1,000 NZD generally duty-free.
European Union: VAT is typically applied on arrival (the 22 EUR de minimis was removed on 1 July 2021). We can’t pre-pay EU taxes.

Please check with your local customs office for current rates before ordering.

If you refuse a shipment or it’s returned to sender, Birds on Bikes Pty Ltd may deduct shipping/handling/merchant fees from any refund to cover incurred costs.
