Introducing our Brand Ambassador
Tumbarumba - NSW
We’re excited to introduce one of Birds on Bikes first Brand Ambassadors - Debbie Harris! Based in Tumbarumba, NSW.
Tell us a little bit about yourself…
Debbie is an award winning midlife blogger who loves her family, travel and treating life as one big adventure. She has ridden a bike most of her life and loves nothing more than a cycling holiday in Australia or overseas (hopefully that can continue sometime in the future).
Debbie was an Education manager, in a men’s correctional centre for 22 years, before being made redundant in 2016 at age 56. Since then she has managed to keep herself occupied with her growing family (comprising of 3 daughters and 4 grandchildren), rail trail pursuits, 2 book clubs, Rotary, blogging and many other activities - in fact there’s rarely a moment where she is sitting still. Which shows nothing much has changed since leaving paid work, as she was known as a 'hummingbird on speed' by her work colleagues, and continues to be a (quiet) force to be reckoned with.
Debbie is a proud advocate for the local Tumbarumba (southern NSW) area and is heavily involved with the Tumbarumba to Rosewood rail Trail - the first rail train in NSW on public land.
Her blog can be found at: www.debs-world.com where she talks all things Midlife, travel and adventure.
Keen on becoming a Brand Ambassador yourself? We’ve had an overwhelming amount of interest in our Birds on Bikes Brand Ambassador program, and have brought a few Brand Ambassadors on-board while we finalise a few things. If you’re keen to be a part of it, register your interest and apply here.
