What We Stand For
At Birds on Bikes, we're not just making cycling gear — we're building a movement. From the very beginning, we set out to create a brand that supports women, celebrates diversity, and leads with values over volume.
Every stitch, every design, and every choice we make reflects what matters most to us: people, planet, and purpose.
1. Empowering Women
We’re proudly women-led — and everything we do is designed with women in mind. From inclusive sizing (6–24) to high-performance gear that supports real bodies, we believe women deserve to feel confident, powerful, and comfortable on and off the bike.
We're here for the weekend rollers, the cafe cruisers, the fitness lovers, and the first-time riders. Every woman belongs here.
2. Australian Made
All our garments are made in-house in Brisbane, Australia, under our manufacturing arm, Ethical Edge Collective. We’re Ethical Clothing Australia accredited, which means every person involved in our process is paid fairly, treated respectfully, and works in safe conditions.
Australian Made isn’t just a label — it’s a commitment to quality, transparency, and local jobs.
3. Ethical Manufacturing
We believe fashion should feel good — and do good too. That’s why we produce in small batches, avoid overproduction, and choose quality over speed. We know who makes our clothes (it’s us!) and we’re proud to show you behind the scenes.
No sweatshops. No shortcuts. Just ethical, intentional manufacturing from start to finish.
4. Sustainability in Motion
We’re taking steps every day to reduce our impact — from using REPREVE® recycled fabrics to minimising waste in our cutting room. We ship with minimal packaging, repair what we can, and are always looking for better ways to do things.
We’re not perfect — but we’re always learning, improving, and riding toward a more sustainable future.
