About Us
Our Story
Birds on Bikes was born from a simple truth: most cycling gear wasn’t made for real women — and definitely not for curvy ones.
As a cyclist, creative, and passionate advocate for ethical fashion, founder Barbara couldn’t find cycling clothes that felt good, looked good, or fit her body. So she decided to make them herself. What started as a personal mission turned into a bold Australian brand that’s all about inclusivity, empowerment, and ethical production.
Today, we’re proud to offer cycling apparel made by women, for women — in sizes 6 to 24 — crafted in-house in Brisbane, Australia.

Who’s Behind the Brand?
Birds on Bikes is powered by a small team of women who believe in doing things the right way. No sweatshops. No shortcuts. Just thoughtful, small-batch production made with love — under our own label and through our manufacturing arm, Ethical Edge Collective.
“I started Birds on Bikes to make cycling more accessible, joyful, and comfortable for all women. This is about freedom, confidence, and connection — on your terms.”
— Barbara, Founder & Creative Director
